KOMPONEN KIMIA MINYAK ATSIRI Callistemon lanceolatus Sweet



Callistemon lanceolatus Sweet has been known as Sikat botol. Essential oil of C. lanceolatus Sweet leaves hasbeen used emprirically as analgetic. This research was aimed to study chemical composition of essential oil fromC. lanceolatus fresh leaf. The essential oil was obtained by water destillation. GC-MS has been used to analyze thechemical composition of the essential oil. The result showed that essential oil of C. lanceolatus contains 1,8-cineole(34,98%), α-pinene (11,58%), α-phellandrene (7,81%), and α-terpineol (5,46%) as the major component.


Callistemon lanceolatus Sweet dikenal sebagai sikat botol lemon. Minyak atsiri dari daun C. lanceolatusSweet telah digunakan secara empiris sebagai analgetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajarikomposisi kimia dari minyak atsiri dari daun C. lanceolatus segar. Minyak esensial ini diperolehdengan destilasi air. GC-MS digunakan untuk menganalisis komposisi kimia dari minyak esensial. Komponenminyak atsiri diidentifikasi dengan membandingkan data spektra massa terhadap database Wiley7Nist.05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minyak atsiri C. lanceolatus mengandung 1,8-sineol(34,98%), α-pinen (11,58%), α-phellandren (7,81%), dan α-terpineol (5,46%) sebagai komponen utama.
